Juliette - Dental Assistant
Juliette is an able and devoted assistant who really connects with her patients. She is admirably committed to ensuring they have a welcoming and relaxed dental experience under our care, each and every visit. She's also possessed of a wonderful knack for describing the benefits of recent advances in dental treatment to our patients. She's truly been wonderful in helping them get the beautiful smile they have always dreamed of.
She has been a Certified Dental Assistant for over 10 years who received initial training in Washington State and has advanced training in digital photography and occlusal therapy. Juliette attended the American Academy of Cosmetic Dentistry conference and trained there with some of the best clinicians in the field. Away from the office, Juliette is always on the go, whether it's gardening, running, cooking with friends and wine tasting. Most of all, Juliette loves spending time with her husband of 6 years and their extended families.
DeVanna - Dental Hygienist
DeVanna is our Dental Hygienist. Since moving to the Alexandria area, she has grown quite fond of it – especially historic Old Town. DeVanna has greatly enjoyed visiting many local sites and monuments.
DeVanna has been a practicing dental hygienist since graduation from dental hygiene school in 2000. Prior to pursuing her degree, Devanna was a dental assistant.
DeVanna takes great pride in providing consistent, thorough treatment to patients – all while giving the patient a pleasant experience. DeVanna is caring, gentle and cheerfully helpful with patients, working tirelessly to help our patients to maintain healthy teeth and gums. She regularly applies her advanced training in restorative and cosmetic dentistry to better educate her patients on the latest, most beneficial treatment options.
After gaining experience in dental hygiene, DeVanna returned to school and earned a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. DeVanna values education and intends to further her own, and eventually teach in a dental hygiene program. Impressively, DeVanna also aspires to learn a second language, and is taking Spanish classes.
DeVanna is admirably dedicated to fitness: she enjoys working out regularly and running. She also enjoys enjoy reading non-fiction, preferring inspirational biographies of successful and interesting people who have overcome obstacles.
Most of all, DeVanna enjoys traveling and taking in attractions such as Broadway shows, sporting events, and beaches, and simply spending cherished time with her devoted husband of two years.
Carrie - Patient Coordinator
Carrie is our Patient Coordinator, an enthusiastic and inviting voice on the other end of the line – an engaged, motivated and skilled communicator. Carrie is commendably devoted to helping our patients feel most comfortable and at ease throughout their office and treatment experience.
Carrie has been involved in the dental field for over seven years, with assisting experience, and as an administrator in a previous dental practice. Carrie earned several certifications and has attended many seminars to better dental education. She has extensive training in enhanced software for dental practices and digital technology.
Carrie previously worked as a technology instructor for Patterson Dental, training numerous dental practices all around the country on computer software and digital integration.
A Virginia native, Carries takes pleasure in spending time with family and friends, and in working out, biking, travel, wine tasting, cooking, and trying anything fun and exciting.
