Prior to moving to Alexandria in 1997, in my forties, I had been seeing a child psychologist/dentist for the better part of two decades. I was paralyzed with the fear of injections and drilling, and required nitrous oxide for normal dental maintenance. Dr. Mullaney had an immediate impact on my neurosis with her support, encouragement, and kindness.
